How to disable or purge nGinx cache?

Our corporate hosting server has nginx cache enabled by default for all accounts, cache allows fast loading of the web site. It improves response of the web site upto 200%.

We recommend to keep it enabled on live web sites if you do not update your content frequently. If you update your content frequently then you can keep it disabled for your account. As after updating content you will need to purge or clear the cache from cPanel everytime.

On development environment, you can keep it disabled to let the updates or changes reflect instantly on your web site.

You can disable/enable and purge/clear the cache by following below steps:

  • Login to your cPanel account with username and password provided by Websterz Web Solution.
  • Once logged in, find the option Clear Cache from right side menu next to the Server Information link.
  • Press the Clear Cache button and wait for it to be completed.
  • You can also disable or enable the Cache by triggering the NGINX Caching button left or right.
