The following article explains creation of child name servers for the new reseller, it is required if you are offering completely branded reseller hosting to your customers with private name servers.
Note : This tutorial is only for ResellerClub domain control panel or any other similar to it, usually known as OrderBox control panel
- Login to your domain control panel provided by your domain registrar with login details
- Choose the domain from Products > List all Orders menu.
- Click on the domain you want to create child name servers for.
- The new page will appear with a menu as shown in below image:
- Now click on Child Name Servers and then put the required information as below :
- Host Name : ns1
- IP Address : 178.162.152.243
- Now press submit
- Repeat above step again as below:
- Host Name : ns2
- IP Address : 178.162.152.243
- and press submit again.
- Your child name servers are created, now you can use them as your private name servers.
- Click the link Name Servers located before the Child Name Servers and write down the newly created name servers e.g ns1.websterz.net and ns2.websterz.net in input fields (Private Name server1 and private name server 2).
- Now your clients won't know whether you are reseller of you have your own server :-)
